Transferring Domains Away from Eco Hosting

We are always sorry to see a you leave. If there's any thing that we can do to keep you, please let us know by contacting customer services from the 'Client Area'. However, if you choose otherwise, to transfer a domain away from us, please follow these instructions. The first step is to log into your 'Client Area'. Enter your email address and password into the respective login boxes then select 'Login'. Go to 'Domains' from the top menu followed by 'My Domains'. On the domain that you wish to transfer away, select the 'spanner icon'. From the left hand side menu, choose 'Registrar Lock'. Usually domains have a registrar lock enabled to prevent them being transferred elsewhere without permission. On this occasion, however, we want the transfer to be allowed, so choose the 'Disable Registrar Lock' option to disable the lock status. Again from the left hand side menu, choose 'Get EPP Code'. By entering the 'Get EPP Code' section, this initiates an email to the registrant email address. In your emails, you will find a message regarding the requested authorisation key for your domain, with the EPP key included. This will now need to be provided to the new registrar to initiate the domain transfer. Please understand that domain transfers may take up to 10 days to complete. Therefore the domain renewal date must be greater than this. A domain transfer does not affect your website or email services. Domains that have been registered or renewed within the last 60 days cannot be transferred.
